The launch of the Traveling Golfer E-Newsletter is on the fast track for success. Thousands of golfers lined up at both the London and Hamilton Golf & Travel Show to sign up for the highly popular magazine style e-newsletter and take home a free gift.

"The Traveling Golfer was a huge hit with golf show visitors in London and Hamilton and we're hoping the trend continues at upcoming shows in Montreal and Toronto," says newsletter publisher Claudio DeMarchi. "I would have to say the Traveling Golfer booth was the busiest destination at both shows and that was great to seen because it's a great information guide for anyone who is considering a golf holiday."

In an effort to increase awareness of the monthly magazine style e-newsletter everyone who visited the London and Hamilton shows received a wooden tee as they entered the buildings as part of the Traveling Golfer "Everyone Wins" promotional contest. When golfers dropped by the booth they handed in the colour-coded tee and received a gift from Callaway Golf when they signed up for the newsletter.

"Callaway's sponsorship of "Everyone Win" has been a huge success," says DeMarchi. Prizes from Callaway Golf included drivers, fairways, putters, the new Freak and Gammer golf balls, as well as other golf accessories and prizes.

Since its inception the Traveling Golfer's team of experienced travel writers and award winning journalists have shared their experiences with readers from their travels around the globe including many popular golf destinations off many destinations throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Europe. We have also introduced our readers to a number of spectacular hidden gems like Glade Springs and Oglebay Resort in West Virginia and some newer destination hotspots including The Olde English District and Florence in South Carolina and many great monthly specials such as Talamore Resort in North Carolina or America's Value Golf Destination of Santee, South Carolina. All traveling golfer stories provide golfers with direct links to websites that will allow them to further there search and book there vacations.

"It will be great to have The Traveling Golfer and the "Everyone Win" promotion at this year's Toronto Star Golf & Travel Show," says show manager Judy Roshko. "We see a lot of golfers come through the doors over the three days who are looking for the latest golf travel information and The Traveling Golfer is certainly a terrific resource for anyone looking to book a golf vacation."

DeMarchi and his partners decided to launch the E-newsletter to assist golfers with their travel planning. "Organizing a golf trip for two people or a larger group can be a daunting task, but hopefully Traveling Golfer will give people the opportunity to read and learn about the different golf destinations that are out there and pick the one that is right for the type of vacation they're looking for," he says.

The host website www.travelinggolfer.net is a wealth of information for golfers. All feature stories appearing on the Traveling Golfer E-Newsletter are posted on the respective "Destination Pages" on the website. Each month golfers are provided with at least five "Great Golf Specials That Every Golfer Should Check Out!"

The monthly publication is sent to over 22,000 golfers approximately 70% are from the provinces of Ontario and Quebec in Canada, the other 30% from New Jersey to Chicago and from Pennsylvania north to the Canadian border.
